66 days

66 days was the amount of time i had to create my BA final collection. i decided to play the game of fashion, but make my own rules. in an attempt to stay sane and healthy, i tried to consciously aim less than is considered the norm in our competitive, capitalist, hyper-productive world. but i don’t think it means i’m aimless. my aim was to explore the hidden potential of insignificant archaic techniques, to find my own rhythm, accept it, trust it, and see where it takes me.

all garments are woven on simple hand-made wooden frames without the use of modern technology and machinery, to express that yearning for slowness and simplicity and to move back towards techniques and physical materials that we understand, that our hands understand.
for the weaving i have used only natural fibres that have been either left undyed or have obtained their colour from plant matter through the years of my experimentations with natural dying.
